A mixture of local views, some in Pentre, many "beyonds the bounds", but all in Rhondda. A souvenir booklet of pictures produced around 1900, sponsored (as they say on commercial television) by a shoe company. This copy sold by T.Thomas, stationer, of 111 Llewellyn Street Pentre. Listed in the Kellys Directory of 1905, the building along with 110 is now a derelict site.
It looks as if the booklet was later used by a young child to practise her capital letters, Jenny perhaps?
